The Uulki compact wooden chopping board takes care of your knives
This compact wooden cutting and serving board with juice well is made from untreated beech wood, just like our other chopping boards. Beech wood is the perfect material to make cutting boards from, because it’s a hardwood. That means that it is very firm, but at the same time soft enough to make sure your knives won’t become blunt that quickly. This means cutting for a long time without having to sharpen your knives! But also the cutting board itself won’t suffer that much by the daily contact with super sharp knives. A wooden chopping board from beech wood is the best choice for as well your knives as the chopping board itself!

How to best rinse a wooden chopping board ?
We strongly discourage you to put a wooden cutting board into the dishwasher after use. The force of this machine – caused by both the high volume of water as well as the high temperatures – is way too aggressive for wood and could cause your favourite wooden chopping board to crack or warp. If you want to avoid this, you can easily rinse your cutting board by hand. You do this by washing it with a sponge or brush underneath warm water. If the chopping board came into contact with grease, you could also use some mild soap. After washing it, let air dry. Wellness for your compact wooden cutting board with juice well
After enduring those sharp knives on a daily basis, your cutting board deserves a relaxing moment. You treat it by spreading some Uulki wood oil on the wooden surface of the board. This natural oil makes sure the wood is nourished deeply and won’t dehydrate or crack. To give your chopping board some extra care, you can additionally treat her with Uulki vegan wood wax. The wax leaves, after nourishing the wood, a water resistant layer on top of the wooden surface. Like that the acids in juices won’t get any chance to affect your wooden cutting board with juice well!
