How to use Uulki Linseed Stand Oil?
First create your medium, by diluting Uulki linseed stand oil to the desired viscosity with a solvent (1:2), for example with Uulki Pure Solvent or another (natural) solvent. Glass containers with a tight screw on cap work best to put it in. Now mix your medium with paint on your palette or dip your brush in the stand oil medium whenever you’re mixing colors or working with thicker, more opaque paint. Keep the container sealed and the refined linseed oil for oil painting medium will last quite a while. Caution: always dry used rags flat to prevent the small possibility of spontaneous combustion.
